We are now over a month into the government shutdown. In Kansas, we’ve received good news just hours ago that the state plans to issue full benefits later today (Friday). The timeline of when people will receive them remains uncertain in Missouri.

There are 200,000 people, including 88,000 children who receive SNAP benefits in Harvesters’ service area.
